Sisetta Zappone
Born in Southern Italy, I graduated in Painting and Drawing at Florence Fine Arts Academy. In 2008 I earned my MA, specialising in printmaking at Bisonte international School of Graphic Arts. In 2009 I had my first solo exhibition at the Natural History Museum “la Specola” in Florence. Around 2012 I moved to London where I teach etching techniques at Thames-Side Print Studio and coordinates exchange projects with Italy. I exhibit regularly in solos and collective shows all over Europe, including the “Accademia del Disegno” in Firenze, the Print Biennal in Bilbao, Italian Culture Institute in Wien, 4Bid Gallery in Amsterdam, and many other galleries in London. In 2015 and 2016 I was engaged in several artist residencies. My artworks is acquired by many public and private collections such as the V&A Museum and the “National print Collection”, in Milan. I am a member of Thames- Side Print Studio, of Second Floor Studios and Arts, East London Printmakers, Printmakers Council. |
